A founding member of the Malta Tourism Board's photography section, Emmanuele Borg played a key role in visually documenting the Maltese Islands in the immediate post-World War II period. Originally from Kalkara, he was entrusted with this mission as the country began to place greater emphasis on developing its tourism sector.
