This photo shows the original façade of the parish church in Xewkija, before it was demolished in the 1950s. The Baroque-style front featured statues in niches, elaborate decorative stonework, and a grand staircase leading to the entrance. It stood as a landmark for the village before the construction of the present Rotunda.
