Santa Cecilia Tower

Santa Cecilia Tower

The Santa Cecilia Tower stands prominently in the rural landscape of Għajnsielem, encircled by traditional dry-stone walls. Built of limestone, this defensive structure features a sturdy square base, small windows for observation, and distinctive battlements along the roofline. The tower, part of Malta’s historic coastal defence network, once served as a lookout post against maritime threats.
