Megalithic ruins

The remains of a prehistoric temple complex at Borġ Għarib, situated in Għajnsielem, offer a glimpse into the island's ancient past. These megalithic ruins, composed of weathered stone blocks and encircling walls, are believed to date back to the Neolithic period. The site, though eroded by time, reflects the architectural ingenuity of the early settlers who inhabited the Maltese islands.
