Ir-Razzett ta’ Żangu

This historic photograph showcases Ir-Razzett ta’ Żangu (the Żangu Farmhouse), located in Tal-Ħanaq and overlooking Wied Binġemma in Nadur. The farmhouse features an arched window with intricate, semi-defaced sculptures carved into the stone lintel, considered among the earliest examples of such art in eastern Gozo. The rustic stonework reflects the traditional craftsmanship of the time. Sadly, this remarkable structure has since been demolished, leaving only its legacy captured in images like this one.
