Inner passage at Ġgantija

A striking view of the monumental stones forming the inner corridor of the Ġgantija Temples in Xagħra. The stepped entrance leads through massive megaliths, some standing over five metres tall, showcasing the impressive engineering of the temple builders. In the distance, a person sits for scale, emphasising the grandeur of this prehistoric structure, one of the oldest free-standing monuments in the world.
