This weathered megalith, known as Il-Ġebla l-Wieqfa, stands upright near the tower at Saint Anthony’s Battery. Its irregular surface and porous texture suggest a prehistoric origin, possibly linked to ancient rituals or boundary markers. Surrounded by wildflowers, it remains a silent sentinel of Gozo’s enigmatic past.
