Għajn tal-Ħasselin

This historic wash house in Fontana known as Għajn tal-Ħasselin, features a graceful stone arch and a flowing spring that once provided fresh water to the town's residents. The central stone slab and troughs were used for washing clothes, a task traditionally done by local women. Carved coats of arms and aged masonry evoke a sense of the communal life that once flourished here.
