Ggantija's South Temple left apses

This 1929 photograph captures the second pair of apses on the left side of the South Temple at Ggantija. The apses are framed by upright orthostats and surrounded by the rough coralline limestone walls characteristic of this Neolithic structure, built around 3600 BC.
