In this striking view of Mġarr Harbour a row of traditional Maltese fishing boats known as luzzijiet rest on land just above the shoreline. In the foreground, fishermen are seen sitting and crouching as they meticulously mend long fishing nets laid out to dry across the sloped slipway. Coiled ropes and floaters are scattered along the edge of the quay. To the left can be seen part of the building known as the Gleneagles Bar.
